Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
StatRank operates the website at statrank.co.uk. We provide World Cup 2026 betting analysis and, for paying customers, email-delivered match picks (the “Tournament Pass”).
For the purposes of UK data protection law, StatRank is the data controller. You can contact us at support@statrank.co.uk with any data-related queries.
2. What information we collect
When you purchase a Tournament Pass, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and passes to us:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your payment details (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number)
We do not collect any other personal data. The free areas of the website do not require you to provide any information.
3. How we use your information
We use your name and email address solely to:
- Send you the betting tips and analysis you have purchased
- Send you a purchase confirmation email
- Process any refund requests under our money-back guarantee
We will not use your email address to send you unsolicited marketing after your Tournament Pass has ended, nor will we sell or rent your data to any third party.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the legal basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) — specifically, to deliver the service you have paid for. We do not rely on consent for this processing.
5. Third parties we share data with
Stripe
Payment processing. Stripe processes your card details and passes your name and email to us on purchase. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. See stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Resend
Transactional email delivery. Your email address is passed to Resend solely to deliver emails you have requested (purchase confirmation and tips). See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel
Website hosting. Vercel may process request logs (IP address, user agent) as part of serving the website. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Email addresses are held only within Stripe and Resend, both of which maintain industry-standard security practices. We do not maintain our own database of customer records beyond what these processors retain.
7. How long we keep your data
We retain your name and email address for the duration of the World Cup 2026 tournament (ending July 2026) and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of refund or dispute. After this period, your data will be deleted from our sending lists. Stripe and Resend may retain records for their own compliance purposes in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Object — object to our processing of your data
- Portability — request your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@statrank.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
9. Cookies
This website does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. The only cookies set are those strictly necessary for Stripe’s checkout functionality when you make a purchase.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
